How to Reverse Disease — Raw for 30 Days

That says it all…
Now… the healing power of a raw food diet is beyond doubt.

I’m a pharmacist and a herbalist. I trained to be a herbalist specifically because most natural therapists DO understand that diet affects who we are. Sadly we often have difficulty convincing our clients to change their diet and this is partly because we do not get the support from the medical profession who seem to think we’re all weirdos. People also need support socially - and that’s way to hard for their friends because if they support their friend to make changes it means they need to look at their own diets.
Great point Linda. In fact, worse than that, people will often attempt to sabotage your efforts to bring you back in line with where they are. As in: ‘Will you have a slice of chocolate cake? Ah, go on. Go on go on go on… Ah, you will. Ah, go on… (etc).’
I think you’re spot on. It’s a really important point. In fact one of our tips in Habit Guide is to get social pressure working for you, rather than against you.
The problem with the benefits of eating a healthy diet is that the effect isn’t instant. I’ve seen folks suddenly think ‘Right, I’m going to be healthy’, eat a cart load of fruit, get the runs and decide it wasn’t for them after all (!)
